Following on from the success of the last 2 coaches and parents game we will be hosting a 3rd game October 1st at Hornet Field, Alameda starting at 6pm.
This is a great chance to show the players we can do what we are telling them to do every game and every practice. It is played in a light-hearted manner with players of all abilities making an appearance.
There will be food and refreshments available. We will also have a small soccer field for kids coming watching the game to play on at the side.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please confirm your attendance via email to Adam or Elliot so we know how many players to expect.

The game is in Avaya Stadium about an hour’s drive down in San Jose. The game is on Sunday at 2pm so traffic shouldn’t be too bad.

I would like to thank Erik Coker, our Treasurer, for providing the transportation for our very successful ASC entry into this year’s parade. I would also like to thank Dave Lekashman, our Secretary, for co-chairing this effort with me.
Thanks to the parents of our ASC players that helped supervise our riders during the parade.
Mostly, I want to thank our 30+ float riders that truly made it a successful event. They helped hand out registration flyers and interacted with the youth and families that watched the event, promoting ASC soccer in an awesome way.
It was lots of fun for all and best of all no injuries to report, only a few minor stumbles.
Have a great summer and look forward to a fantastic Fall soccer season.
Join your teammates on the Alameda Soccer Club float in Alameda’s July 4th parade!
The ASC float will be on Lincoln Ave (probably somewhere near Walnut St.). Arrive no later than 9:00am. Riders will be managed by ASC representatives and parent volunteers.
There will be a sign in sheet for each rider/player that will need to be filled out by parent or guardian providing all needed contact information. No rider will be allowed to leave float without showing their proper ID and signing the rider out.
Wear your full ASC uniform (no cleats of course). U8 and under in their International uniforms.
Younger players will ride on the float and older ones will walk along the route with props and also be asked to hand out Fall registration flyers to spectators.
Parents can pick riders up at end of parade on Lincoln between Webster and 8th.
Riders do not need to complete the entire parade on the ASC float. Riders that depart float early will need to be signed out by parent/guardian per sign in sheet.
Water and snacks will be provided for all riders. Please have your rider wear sunscreen and have good walking shoes.
Parent Volunteers needed!
If you are interested in helping out with the float during the day of the parade or helping decorate the float please contact Dave Lekashman at email@example.com.
