Alameda Soccer Club will have a float for next week’s July 4th parade. Come join us, represent, celebrate our country and love for soccer! Walk, Bike, Scooter or ride along on the float.
When & Where: Meet on Wednesday, July 4th at 10:15am on Lincoln Ave. near Walnut where the float will be set up and waiting. ASC is Float #150
Who: Any and all ASC players and family members. Wear your ASC uniform tops and good walking shoes. The parade route is approximately 2.5 miles will take about 2.5 hours.
Needed: Parents to chaperone all our kids. Players can be dropped off at float mustering area but will need to be signed in by their parents. Players can be picked up at the end of the parade route at Lincoln & 8th at approximately 1pm.
Provided: Snacks and water for all for duration of parade

All Alameda Soccer Club players and coaches are invited to come ride or walk with the ASC float in this year’s 4th of July parade.
We have float #141 and will depart from our staging area on Lincoln Ave, close to Willow. Please arrive no later than 9:30am if you’d like to join us.
All participants should wear ASC soccer uniforms (U8 and under, wear your Country uniform) and wear good walking shoes.
The parade route is about 3 miles from start to finish and will take about 3 hours to complete. Water and snacks will be provided.
Parents can leave players with the float for the duration of the parade but must sign players in at the beginning and out at the end with ASC float coordinators Scott MacAskill or Dave Lekashman.
We need parents to volunteer to walk with the float and supervise riders so please get in touch with Scott if you’re interested.
Parents can pick up their player at the end of the parade route on Lincoln Ave. between Webster and 8th sometime between Noon and 1pm.

Join your teammates on the Alameda Soccer Club float in Alameda’s July 4th parade!
The ASC float will be on Lincoln Ave (probably somewhere near Walnut St.). Arrive no later than 9:00am. Riders will be managed by ASC representatives and parent volunteers.
There will be a sign in sheet for each rider/player that will need to be filled out by parent or guardian providing all needed contact information. No rider will be allowed to leave float without showing their proper ID and signing the rider out.
Wear your full ASC uniform (no cleats of course). U8 and under in their International uniforms.
Younger players will ride on the float and older ones will walk along the route with props and also be asked to hand out Fall registration flyers to spectators.
Parents can pick riders up at end of parade on Lincoln between Webster and 8th.
Riders do not need to complete the entire parade on the ASC float. Riders that depart float early will need to be signed out by parent/guardian per sign in sheet.
Water and snacks will be provided for all riders. Please have your rider wear sunscreen and have good walking shoes.
